๐ Rivona, South Goa
Most people leave Goa having never seen its oldest things. In Rivona village, Buddhist monks carved meditation chambers into laterite rock centuries ago. Along the Kushavati River, prehistoric rock engravings have been sitting there since the Neolithic period, unguarded and largely unvisited. This trail takes you to both, with a home-cooked breakfast at a forest farm and a walk through a spice plantation that has been working the same land for generations.
